WHAT IS THE BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE?

The challenge starts at midday on Tuesday 30th November and ends at midday on Tuesday 7th of December 2021 – So we have just 7 days to raise our ambitious target of £6,000. The special thing about the challenge is that all donations up to £3000 given during the time frame & via the big give website, are matched, meaning your donation is DOUBLED and so is the #IMPAACT.

HOW WILL MY DONATION MAKE AN #IMPAACT?

All funds raised throughout the challenge will go towards the purchase of a new Carriage. By providing carriage driving opportunities, we will be increasing our RDA offer and further improve equal access to all. Our customers will get the benefits of riding which are relevant to carriage driving; improving their health and wellbeing, delivering a lasting therapy that benefits mobility and co-ordination, and encouraging confidence and self worth whilst having fun.

What we are raising the money for;

• To allow as many people as possible to enjoy the pleasure of driving a horse and carriage in the outdoors.
• To further develop our link with our community by offering an additional challenging and stimulating activity.
• To further enable people to improve their health and wellbeing, delivering a lasting therapy that benefits mobility and co-ordination, encourages confidence and self worth whilst having fun.
• To have horse and carriage riding sessions available to book every week

Thanks to their generosity we have £1500 in pledges which has been matched by our Champion.

So this November 30th, known as #givingtuesday, we are now looking to our friends, families, clients, community and supporters to raise the remaining amount which will again be matched by our Champion! Any funds raised that do not meet our target will still be used on our RDA programme.

By purchasing a horse drawn carriage especially adapted to take wheelchairs, we can give those who are physically unable to get on a horse the physical and mental benefits of riding. 

We would also like to thank our friends at the Royal Forest of Dean RDA Carriage Driving center for their continued support.

HOW & WHEN CAN I DONATE?

By donating in the Big Give Christmas Challenge where your donation will be DOUBLED – you’ll be enabling even more people to access the joy of horses.

You must donate between midday on Tuesday 30th December and midday on Tuesday 7th of December via our Big Give link in order for your donation to be doubled.
