This skilful session is popular among groups of all ages. Using equipment sized to ensure maximum progression on our archery ranges, archers will develop concentration, self-discipline and co-ordination as they take aim.
During the session, safety points will be covered, followed by a round of practice shots. When everyone is comfortable with the technique, the skill-based games can begin!
The Archery at Fort Purbrook is fully accessible and suitable for participants with a range of disabilities. This is the perfect activity for parties, school groups, work groups and more. If you are a school looking for a different way of bringing your subject alive, we can tailor the sessions to meet your lesson and curriculum objectives.
Shoot for fun, or compete with friends. There are some great games we can introduce you to, or simply see who the best archer is using Olympic style scoring.
We also provide opportunities to gain instructor qualification throughout the year, please contact Fort Purbrook on 023 9232 1223 for more details.
One-to-one Archery sessions are available – please contact Fort Purbrook for information.
