It is with great pleasure that I can announce the appointment of Tom Weaver as our Centre Manager at Fort Purbrook with effect from 14th February 2022.
As some of you may know, Tom has worked at Fort Purbrook for a few years and has worked his way up from an instructor to lead instructor and now Centre Manager
This appointment clearly demonstrates my confidence, and that of the Board of Trustees, in Tom.
I know that staff and our community will join me in congratulating him and continue to support his hard work in fulfilling the aims of the Charity.

How long have you worked for the Charity?
I have worked for PAACT for 4 years this April
What are your aims for your new role?
To develop new and exciting activities and engage with new schools, groups, and the wider community.
What do you love most about working for the Charity?
The experiences we offer and the development of young people in our unique environment and the fact we are in the process of restoring much of the Fort to the way it would have been, 150 years ago.
What’s a favorite joke?
It’s bad but, What do you call an Alligator in a vest? An Invest-igator
What’s the most fun you have had at work?
Working with groups who are really engaged with the activity, seeing them enjoy it, having a laugh and progressing their skills.
