String Trail at Peter Ashley Activity Centres Portsmouth
String Trail at Fort Purbrook is a unique group activity. Before embarking on the String Trail, your group will be encouraged to consider how they use their senses; how much they rely on their sight, touch and hearing. Your group is then blindfolded before setting off to complete the trail – negotiating obstacles and carrying out a series of challenging tasks. It’s an extremely effective way to help your group develop trust in one-another and improve their communication skills.

The course takes the group from the top of the Fort down to its deepest darkest depths. Communicating effectively with others during the activity is key for success.

The String Trail at Fort Purbrook is the perfect activity for parties, school groups, work groups and more. If you are a school looking for a different way of bringing your subject alive, we can tailor the sessions to meet your lesson and curriculum objectives. Our session allows for cross curricular opportunities linking with PE, English and Geography!
