Engines at the ready for the annual Mayors Classic Vehicle Run

On Sunday 14th April 2019 classic cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles, that pre-date 1990, will assemble at Havant Borough Council’s Plaza car park from 8.30 am before heading of on their prestigious Classic Vehicle Run.


In aid of the Mayor of Havant’s charity appeal, this annual event, now in its 15th year, will see the Mayor of Havant wave off the vehicles at 10am.
The participating vehicles will travel through Hampshire’s beautiful countryside before arriving at Fort Purbrook, Portsdown Hill Road at midday. The vehicles will then be on view again for people to see.
The Dolomites will be providing the musical entertainment at the Fort, with refreshments and a BBQ also available to make the day an enjoyable one for all the family.
The Classic Vehicle Run will raise funds for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund raising funds for The Rowans Hospice and Riverside School.

The Mayors run do depend on the generosity of those taking part to either make a donation or collect sponsorship in aid of the Charity Appeal Fund.
The Classic Car Run begins at the Public Service Plaza, and finishes at Fort Purbrook, Peter Ashley Activity Centres.
Registration between 8.30 am and 9.30 am
Vehicles to assemble in the car park at the Public Service Plaza
Vehicles to be flagged off from 10.00 am
