Local Police Community Support Officers took to Portsdown Hill on horse back!
On Tuesday 20th September 2017 local Officers Equine Liaison Officer PC Buckley and PCSO Lisa Elliott took to the slopes of Portsdown Hill on horse back to view the area from a different perspective.
They joined a ride from the Peter Ashley Activity Centres, Fort Widley Equestrian Centre and chatted to staff and members of the public as part of a wider engagement to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour issues in the surrounding area.

The natural open space and car parking areas of Portsdown Hill are enjoyed by a wide section of the community, which in turn can bring occasional conflicts and disturbance such as vehicle nuisance, fly tipping and damage from illegal metal detecting.
The local Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be arranging meetings with other hill user groups in the future in order to gather information and pass on rime prevention advice.
