PAAC love welcoming Scout groups to our centres because their core philosophy motivates us – creating new adventures, being in the outdoors and growing in confidence is why we do what we do. Through our variety of activities and challenges, Scout groups can work on team work, communication, increasing motivation and grow their own skills whilst enjoying a fun-packed outdoor activity stay.
We do everything from day visits to residentials and camps for Scout groups. We work with all the sections from the young beavers and rainbows through to Explorers and Rangers and Network alike.
You can choose whether to stay inside the 19th century Fort which can cater for up to 100 people, or camp on its parade ground in our new camping facilities. Whilst staying with us, we offer a wide range of catering options. You can also choose to hire out the facility on a self-catering basis or relax and enjoy our fully-catered option during your stay.

These packages can be built around badge requirements, and the experience of the group and abilities of the young people.
From stage one we work together to produce an exclusive programme that offers a truly inspirational learning experience. That’s not all, even a day visit to the Peter Ashley Activity Centre builds self-esteem in young people to try new challenges. All our sessions are designed to enhance students’ confidence and can be developed and combined to meet your curriculum and learning needs.
