Our Limitless Accessible Activity Sessions have been designed to suit a range of needs and can be easily adapted regardless of learning, physical or sensory needs.

We will work closely with you before and during your visit to ensure that your family get the most out of your time with us.

Our instructors have experience of delivering a wide range of activities to groups with additional needs such as physical or sensory impairments, learning difficulties such as ADHD, ASD, MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

Come together with other like minded families and participate in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, specifically adapted to meet individual needs and ensure each family member achieves, learns, laughs and has fun together.

These following activities have been adapted for an inclusive experience: climbing and bouldering; bushcraft and woodland skills; archery and rifle shooting.

Young people and their families or carers can take advantage of our fantastic activity sessions on selected dates for as little as £11.50 per person. We require one parent or carer to remain on site with each young person so carers or parents go free.

All of our activities are accessible, but just so we know who is coming and how best to run the session could you please supply us with a short bio of the participant at point of booking.

Age range: 8 – 18 years

Spaces are reserved for those with additional needs first.

Inclusive activities for young people with additional needs

We have activities with adaptive capacity enabling all to participate, no matter their special educational needs or disabilities. Activities with adaptive capacity include:

Archery:
Our archery sessions are fully inclusive and we have specialised equipment to meet a range of needs simultaneously. A typical session will feature archery games and coaching, as well as learning about the equipment and sport.

Air Rifle Shooting:
Our Air Rifle sessions are fully inclusive and we have specialised equipment to meet a range of needs simultaneously. A typical session will feature coaching and some fun traditional and nontraditional rifle games, as well as learning about the equipment and sport.

Bushcraft:
Bushcraft and Woodland Skills studies the environment and how to best adapt to it. Immensely variable, our sessions focus on survival skills as well as environmental knowledge. Typical Bushcraft activities can be: fire lighting; shelter building; environmental games; nature walks; cooking; cordage; tracking and tool use. Cooking in particular provides for an enjoyable sensory experience that also teaches transferable practical life skills.

Climbing:
PAAC has two specific bouldering rooms which have a range of options for people of all abilities. The walls allow for bouldering and roped climbing. There is a low angled slab for easy climbing, a high angled slab as well as vertical and overhanging routes. We also have an adaptable hoist system that a climber can use to ascend fully independently, with assistance or fully assisted. There is also the opportunity for assisted climbing through an instructor led assisted belay set up if required.
